Presidential Towers is a four-building residential development in Chicago's River West neighborhood with over 2000 apartment units. It was built in the late 1980's and featured a leasing center video that dated from that era. With an eye to updating the video, and the branding message, management turned to Angle Park to capture a taste of life at Presidential Towers.

Martin, Liz, and Alexei shot the footage over the course of several days, working from a comprehensive shot list that included every aspect of the buildings' physical and lifestyle features. Presidential Towers tenants range widely in age and background. Many are corporate and student transplants from around the world, and not fluent in English, so the video takes a very literal approach to describing the amenities. Feature by feature, the narration and picture are locked to make the case clearly and effectively.

To make installation of the video go smoothly, Angle Park consulted with the hardware vendor and determined that the newly-renovated Leasing Center would feature a wide-screen plasma display, driven by DVD. Martin chose to shoot the project in wide-screen 16:9 format to fit the display, and in the progressive 24P format for maximum shelf-life.
