Since 1995, the Chicago chapter of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation has sponsored a unique award ceremony that recognizes the best in Chicagoland community development. With annual attendance of 1200, including dignitaries, planners, community organizers, and foundations, CNDA has become the banner event for Chicago community development.

Since 2001, Angle Park has produced seven dynamic, tightly-edited videos each year that are used as the centerpiece of the CNDA event. Working in a variety of documentary and free-form styles, each two-minute program is tailored to the organization and project that is receiving recognition. The programs are generally interview-driven, and are designed to show how the heroic efforts of ordinary people can make changes for the better.

Angle Park also maintains the lisc-cnda.org web site, which provides information about the awards, catalogs ten years of award winners, and includes stories, pictures, and streaming video clips.
