Family Support America (formerly the Family Resource Coalition) meets once every two years in Chicago. On the occasion of their 21st anniversary, FSA wished to remember its history and honor those who were involved along the way. They felt that some sort of timeline would do the trick.

However, timelines can be a bit tiring to watch after a few minutes, so we decided to incorporate their idea, but take it a step further. Inspired by the meeting's printed materials, which were vibrant and intentionally a little kid-like, we proposed a fun, colorful walk through a park filled with their history. By avoiding the same old linear timeline that is so common in "historical modules," we married the meeting's visual theme with twenty-one years of history. FSA was so pleased with the results that a few weeks after the meeting they requested we also provide a print illustration in the same style. It was used as the center spread for "Family" magazine.

Liz Sung created the illustrated elements and animated. Martin animated and edited.
