Keith walked in with a stack of 3"x5" cards and a story line. A year and many, many 3"x5" cards later, the first six minute episode in the Surfur Gurl saga was complete. Along with animation help from Andy Arnette, Martin cut, composited, and did most of the sound design.

For years, we kept this project on our reels and web site because we really liked the way it turned out. But we considered this first installment to also be the last we'd ever hear from the Surfur Gurl. However, recently Keith chimed in to let us know he is alive and well, and now that he has published his first comic, he's looking forward to the possibility that Surfur Gurl may indeed ride again. Google led him to us again.
